Xaymaca Awoyungbo directed and produced Made in Walthamstow, a documentary about Walthamstow FC’s kit collaboration with the William Morris Gallery (the first of its kind between a museum and a gallery). The film explores the history of replica football kits, the significance of William Morris and the power of community in Walthamstow. It premiered at the William Morris Gallery in April 2024 before being uploaded onto the Stow Stories YouTube Channel. The Guardian, BBC Radio London, Soccer Bible,Copa90 and Waltham Forest Echo have featured the documentary on their platforms. Awoyungbo also hosted a film screening and art workshop at Orford House as well as three talks at Forest School about William Morris’ lasting impact.
